The hands and arms have an unusual effect on our motor cortex. We often do not realize how much tension we are holding there because we are so busy using our hands and arms we do not slow down.
I once taught a series on the hands and arms and a competitive cyclist and runner was in the class. He commented that he almost didn't come to class because he didn't think he needed to "work" on his hands and arms. After doing the lessons he was amazed at how much better he moved.
It is because the hands and arms take up so much real estate in our sensory-motor apparatus that they have such a pervasive effect on the activation of effort through the whole system.
These lessons are for everyone, whether you work at a computer, play an instrument, or just want to settle and feel grounded and centered.
Class size limited to 7 so register early.
