Introduction: How can awareness help us stay flexible?

  • 2825 Marine Street Boulder, CO, 80303 United States (map)

Welcome! Have you ever considered how your movement patterns affect your mental and physical life? If you're feeling stuck, you might be surprised to discover how releasing old habits of moving is linked directly to your well being. Flexible, intelligent movement broadens your capacity for feeling, thinking, and sensing, as well creative thinking and resilience.

This introduction will focus on flexibility and how our way of acting in the world is based on our belief in what is possible. How do we feel more possibility?

We must have a flexibility of attitude of mind and body beyond that which we currently have.We have to be willing, Dr. Feldenkrais says, "to throw away all that is useless for the immediate purpose."

That means we have to be willing to let go, to sense something new and unexpected not only about our weight shift across the floor, but also how we construct the kaleidoscope of our life.

Join Erin for:

  • an experience of Feldenkrais movement lessons
  • an overview of how Feldenkrais works
  • a hands-on demonstration
  • discussion and Q&A so you can find out how Feldenkrais can help

I have been doing Feldenkrais for 43 years starting with the original group of teachers in Israel. I love this method because with subtle movements you get great results. I have been with Erin for five years and I find her as deep and knowledgeable as the first group of teachers. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
